The chapel of Frachey is dedicated to Saint Roch and was originally dedicated to Saint Claude. It was created by Jean-Claude Frachey on February 22, 1653.

Paths to Higher Elevations

For hikes to higher elevations, there is the SI F18 section of the Sentiero Italia. It leads to the Rifugio Guide di Frachey and onward to Alpe Ciarcerio. A path through the forest also begins east of Frachey. It passes through the hamlets of Soussun at an elevation of 1,940 meters and Gontonery at an elevation of 2,206 meters, continuing to the Rothorn Pass at an elevation of 2,692 meters. The destinations therefore range from the area around Frachey through higher-elevation hamlets to a mountain pass.

Ski Route and Funicular Railway

Winter sports include another connection. A Monterosa Ski route starts from Frachey and leads on skis to Gressoney-La-Trinité and Alagna. The funicular railway operated by Leitner Ropeways runs from the Frachey hamlet at an elevation of 1,617 meters to Alpe Ciarcerio at 1,981 meters.
