The coast of Massa Lubrense is protected by the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area. More than 100 kilometers of hiking trails run through the area. The Sentiero di Athena passes through an area of particular historical significance. When preparing a hike, you can therefore distinguish the length of the entire area from the historical classification of this route.

Guided tours of the Baia di Ieranto can be booked; they last one to two hours. On a trip to Massa Lubrense, this duration can be treated as a separate time block in your own itinerary. In the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area, individual or group dives with or without breathing apparatus are possible with the administration's permission. Authorized diving centers also offer guided underwater tours there. Roman Traces and Historic Buildings

A trapezoidal Roman structure with a Cocciopesto floor was uncovered on Isola d’Isca. On the same island, two Roman nymphaea and a Roman staircase have also been known since the beginning of the 20th century.

The Torre Minerva was built on the orders of Roberto d’Angiò between 1334 and 1335. After it was destroyed by the Turks, it was rebuilt in 1556. The sequence of commission, construction, destruction and reconstruction can be traced through the dates. Further construction phases can be identified at the former Cathedral of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Massa Lubrense: it was built between 1512 and 1536 and renovated in 1760.

The Santuario Santa Maria della Lobra has three naves, a transept, a dome and an apse. Each route of the Museo Diffuso is accompanied by one or more QR codes. They provide information and videos with detailed explanations of the most important buildings. The QR codes supplement each route with digital explanations of the most important buildings.
