Nature and Bike Tours in the Mesola–Volano–Goro Section

Lido di Pomposa is recommended as a starting point for bike tours in the Mesola–Volano–Goro section. Lido di Pomposa is located near the entrance to the Riserva Naturale della Stazione del Parco Volano–Mesola–Goro nature reserve. The Dune San Giuseppe Natura 2000 site lies between Lido delle Nazioni and Lido di Pomposa. The bike tour section and the entrance to the protected area represent two different reference points for planning: the bike tour in the Mesola–Volano–Goro section and the natural area near Lido di Pomposa.

Bagno Pomposa is also of interest to cycle tourists. Its BICI-GRILL area offers an air pump, basic repair tools and a battery charging station. Local Products and the Event on 8 August

The Vigna Sul Mar Camping Village in the town of Lido di Pomposa provides a concrete impression of the seaside location. It is situated directly on the Adriatic Sea and borders a private beach with very fine sand and shallow water.

At the Comacchio Experience location in Lido di Pomposa, gin and liqueurs made in-house are offered. A fixed-date event takes place on 8 August: in Lido di Pomposa and Lido degli Scacchi, the programme includes a celebration of the birthday of the two Lidos, a procession of the ducal court of the Palio Estense and fireworks at midnight. 8 August brings Lido di Pomposa and Lido degli Scacchi together for a joint event. The midnight fireworks provide a clear fixed time for the day of the event.
