Mediterranean maquis dominates the vegetation, with cork oaks, holm oaks, downy oaks and Aleppo pines. As a result, the park offers not only individual attractions but also a distinctive landscape where observing nature, physical activity and historical traces come together.

The Gianola e Monte di Scauri Regional Park is free to access. However, natural barriers may make some areas inaccessible to visitors with mobility impairments. Bay, rocks and the grotta azzurra

A distinctive coastal landmark is Spiaggia dei Sassolini. The sheltered natural bay lies between Monte d’Oro and Monte di Scauri. At the same Spiaggia dei Sassolini, there is also a small grotto called “grotta azzurra”. The Antiquarium of Minturnae is located in the Roman Theatre. This allows Minturnae’s historical focus to be explored through a clearly defined location and important individual pieces, without reducing the visit to a generic scene of ruins.

The Torre di Scauri also combines history and landscape. From Via della Cartiera, a 600 m-long path with an elevation gain of 50 m begins in the area of the Torre di Scauri. From the summit of the Torre di Scauri, there is a view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aurunci Mountains. The view adds a distinctly scenic aspect to the historical site.
