Marina di Pietrasanta combines a coastal landscape with the extensive greenery of La Versiliana and a diverse cultural offering. The coastline, with Fiumetto, Tonfano, Motrone and Focette, features well-equipped bathing establishments. Pine forest and parkland along the coast

La Versiliana is a public park near the coast of Fiumetto. Parco La Versiliana covers around 800,000 square metres and stretches for more than 1,000 metres along the coast. Its character is defined by a wooded area with pine trees and holm oaks. This combination of proximity to the coast and wooded landscape makes the park a distinctive part of Marina di Pietrasanta.

The pine forest of Marina di Pietrasanta has sports and nature trails with varying levels of difficulty. There is also a riding centre where you can learn to ride. In summer, the park hosts guided nature tours introducing its flora and fauna. The different trails, the riding centre and the summer tours each provide their own focus in the pine forest.

Villa La Versiliana and cultural traces

Villa La Versiliana was built in 1886. Gabriele D’Annunzio stayed at the villa in 1906, and the writer Renato Fucini gave it the name La Versiliana. The Ponte del Principe is another historical reference point in the surrounding area: it was built towards the end of the 18th century.

Today, the La Versiliana Festival includes theatre, dance, music, satire and cabaret. Another seasonal attraction is the Fiumetto market. It takes place from 1 May to 15 September every Sunday, as well as on public holidays that do not fall on a Sunday, in the area around Ponte del Principe in Fiumetto. This means that a stay on the coast can also be combined with cultural and local impressions.
