Pracando is a small settlement whose character is shaped by the Chiesa della Madonna del Ponte and several abandoned historic paper mills. Pracando combines the history of papermaking with the peaks and mountains in its surroundings.

A historic landmark is the Cartiera Nardi in Pracando. It was built in 1863 and ceased operations in the early 1970s. The inventor is considered to be the chemist and pharmacist Stefano Franchi, who came from Villa Basilica. The Chiesa della Madonna del Ponte is also known as the Oratorio di Pracando and is part of the catalogued cultural heritage.
