Marina Di Vasto: Beach, Nature and History

Marina Di Vasto combines an expansive coastal area with nature, archaeological traces and regional everyday culture. The Monumento alla Bagnante is a bronze work created by Aldo D'Adamo in 1979. Over the years, it has become a symbol of the tourist resort of Vasto. Castello Aragona is also located in the immediate vicinity of Marina di Vasto. A traditional reenactment of the ancient fishing technique is La Sciabica. One edition took place on July 26 from 9:00 a.m. at the free beach in the Ex Lido La Bussola area and then at the pier. The event thus combines fishing history, regional cuisine and wine into a distinct cultural experience; the date is in the past.

Cycling to the Coast

Vasto Marina is connected to the Via Verde by a route for cyclists and pedestrians. Cyclists coming from the Via Verde can therefore reach the Lungomare Duca degli Abruzzi more easily and safely.
