San Clemente: Preserved Traces, Nature and Trails

Preserved Traces in San Clemente

In San Clemente, the area around the Church of S. Donato, the Coturni Fountain, the Cappella del Corbello and the stone bridge of Collinverno are among the preserved traces of art and history. Galluccio lies on the northwest side of the Roccamonfina Park. San Clemente is one of the districts of the municipality scattered across this extensive area. Two different route connections are relevant for orientation: the route from the Santuario di Maria SS. dei Lattani to San Clemente di Galluccio is 9 kilometres long. The route from the Santuario dei Lattani to Monte Camino passes through San Clemente. Since these are different routes, you should consider the two details separately when planning.

Routes for Outdoor Activity and Exploration

The “La Via delle Sorgenti” route started on 28 March 2025 in the San Clemente district of Galluccio and runs along side roads with very little vehicle traffic. If you include cycling in your travel plans, you can take this route characteristic into account as a separate aspect. The route from the Santuario dei Lattani to Monte Camino adds a hiking option to the area’s route network and passes through San Clemente.
