Frassinoro between Monastic History and Faith

The parish church of Santa Maria and San Claudio dates from the late 16th century and preserves stone slabs, capitals and architectural decorations from the Matildic Abbey and older buildings. The church also houses a Eucharistic dove made in Limoges in the 12th or 13th century.
