The best-preserved front section of the Castello di Salvaterra features an entrance portal with a small tower above it. The mechanisms of the drawbridge are still visible on it.

The Chiesa di Salvaterra was referred to in 1233 as the “Pieve di S. Salvatore di Salvaterra”. In the same church, the organ was completed in 1727 by organ builder Domenico Traeri. The two dates connect a medieval designation with a clearly dated instrument.

Villa Segrè was built in 1810 by the Jewish Abraham Segrè family. It features a neoclassical architectural style attributed to the first half of the 19th century. The main façade is divided into three sections: a central section and two side sections, each ending in a triangular pediment. The villa is surrounded by a park with conifers and native plants.

Ceramics in the present day: Factory Tour and LAB Exhibition in Salvaterra

At the Ceramiche Refin site, the Factory Tour offers customers and visitors a multi-part, multisensory insight into the production of the Grès collections. The LAB Exhibition at the site presents a digital and physical exhibition featuring materials, tools and craft prototypes. Alongside its historical themes, Salvaterra thereby gains a concrete connection to industrial design and craft development.

Cycling: Ciclovia del Secchia and events
