The project L’antica via dell’acqua di Borghetto d’Arroscia included the restoration of the Antica Bialera. This places water-related cultural heritage at the heart of the town’s history. The Antica Bialera route runs from the Ponte Romanico to the municipality’s restored square. For orientation along the waterway, the Ponte Romanico and the municipality’s restored square form the two spatial reference points. Anyone following the route in Borghetto can use these two endpoints for orientation and view the section as one continuous stretch. The route can therefore be incorporated into local planning as a connection between the Ponte Romanico and the municipality’s restored square.

San Pantaleo: Church, Location and Frescoes

The Church of San Pantaleo dates from the 15th century. San Pantaleo is located about 1 kilometre from Borghetto on the road from Pieve di Teco to Albenga. The frescoes in the church are attributed to Pietro Guidi da Ranzo. The figure of about 1 kilometre deliberately records the distance as an approximate value.
