Incoronata is a hamlet whose name goes back to a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Maria SS. Incoronata is the parish of the Incoronata hamlet; its address is in C.da Incoronata. Art between Macchiagodena and Incoronata

The contemporary art project “Partitura per un futuro ritorno” is spread across the centre of Macchiagodena and the three hamlets of Caporio, Incoronata and Santa Maria in Pantano. The connection with art thus extends beyond a single location and links several parts of the municipal area.

Festivals throughout the year

Several local events take place in Incoronata throughout the year. In August, the hamlet hosts the folk festival “Il ritorno” in honour of emigrants returning during the holidays. The Sagra del tartufo takes place on the last weekend of July in the village of Incoronata. The Festa della Madonna dell'Incoronata is also scheduled for the last Saturday and Sunday in April. In 2013, the first day of La Scogna took place in the Incoronata hamlet.

The dates are spread across spring, midsummer and August. The April event bears the name of the Madonna dell'Incoronata, the Sagra refers to the truffle in its name, and “Il ritorno” honours the emigrants returning during the holidays.
