Via dei Briganti and landscape

The third stage of the Via dei Briganti leads from Villafranca d'Asti to Roatto. It passes through the Valtriversa valley as well as cultivated fields and small woodland areas. Villafranca d'Asti marks the start and Roatto the destination of the stage. The route connects the starting point with a valley area, cultivated land and small sections of woodland.

Green space by the historic centre

The Parco delle Verne is located on the edge of the historic centre of Villafranca d'Asti. The green space covers 20,000 square metres. The park also includes a barefoot trail. The Chiesa dei Santi Elena ed Eusebio contains historic furnishings. Between 1662 and 1664, Giovanni Luca Corbellini created the episcopal coat of arms with angels and the stucco work depicting the theological virtues there.
