Casa Tracuzzi in the hamlet of Corriolo also leads into the history of the town. At its entrance is a wrought-iron gate dating from 1840. On 6 March 1848, a secret meeting between surrounding municipalities took place at Casa Tracuzzi; it had been convened by the Milazzo uprising committee. The house is therefore connected with a precisely dated historical event.

Holy Week and Carnival

During Holy Week, the Sacra Rappresentazione reenacts the Passion and death of Jesus Christ with 150 actors and extras. During the Carnival in Cattafi, the “Scacciuni” masks take part in a procession.
