Balata di Baida at the Foot of Monte Sparagio

Balata di Baida lies at 197 meters above sea level at the foot of Monte Sparagio. The village presents itself as an agriculturally shaped settlement, surrounded by olive trees, prickly pears and Mediterranean maquis. This gives you a clear profile combining local history and landscape.

Both route connections draw attention to different aspects of the surrounding area: one places the Borgo within a cultural circuit, while the other connects Balata di Baida with a longer route between Scopello and Segesta.

The Living Nativity Scene of Balata di Baida was scheduled at the historic Baglio Grammatico for December 26 and January 5, 6, 7 and 8, each day from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The time from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. places the performance in the late afternoon and evening.
