Caderzone: Wellness, Culture and Nature in Val Rendena
Accommodation in Caderzone
Natural surroundings and initial orientation
Caderzone Terme is nestled in Adamello Brenta Nature Park, on the slopes of the Brenta Dolomites and near the glaciers of Adamello-Presanella. There is also a public wellness centre in the historic Palazzo Lodron-Bertelli, trails through the Ontaneta di Caderzone and evidence of cultural history dating from the 13th and early 14th centuries. If you would like to combine nature, relaxation and regional history on your trip to Italy, Caderzone offers several clearly distinct points of interest.

Wellness at Palazzo Lodron-Bertelli
The public Borgo Salute wellness centre is located in the historic Palazzo Lodron-Bertelli. Its facilities include a hydromassage pool, sauna, steam bath, salt room, caldarium, cold-water pool, experience showers, a relaxation room and a solarium.
Circular trails between Caderzone and Pinzolo
The circular trail Percorso all'Ontaneta di Caderzone leads through the Ontaneta di Caderzone, a particularly valuable nature reserve on the Sarca River. Another trail is the Trail of Wellness, Caderzone Terme–Pinzolo. It is a family-friendly circular trail from Caderzone Terme to Pinzolo and back, offering views over the Piana di Caderzone. This allows you to consider separately, when planning your trip, a nature reserve on the river and a circular trail with broader landscape views.
Buildings with a history
Palazzo Lodron-Bertelli dates from the early 14th century and, together with Maso Curio, forms an early point of reference for understanding rustic rural architecture in Val Rendena. Maso Curio has been documented since the beginning of the 14th century. The Chiesa di San Biagio preserves the bell tower of its predecessor, dating from the 13th century. Those who explore Caderzone through its historic buildings encounter different periods here, as well as a clear connection to the architecture of Val Rendena.
Agriculture, museum and regional products
The Museo della Malga is located on the ground floor of the stables in the Lodron-Bertelli district. The Festa dell'Agricoltura, held every summer, offers another way to experience agriculture. It includes demonstrations of historic farming, a parade with cattle of the Rendena breed, markets, musical events, dance evenings and dinners featuring typical local products. One specific product shaped by this regional tradition is Formaggio Razza Rendena. It is made exclusively from the milk of Rendena cows, which spend a large part of the year on the mountain pastures.
Cycling and golf along the Sarca
The cycle path in Val Rendena follows the course of the Sarca River. Thanks to its central location, Caderzone Terme is a starting point for excursions. Golf Club Rendena offers a 9-hole course with Par 35 and a practice area by the Sarca River. In addition to the circular trails, this provides cycling and golf activities connected with the river valley.
