Radicofani is a destination offering different forms of Italian travel experience: the Via Francigena leads in one stage from San Quirico d’Orcia to Radicofani and in another from Radicofani to Acquapendente. The Via Francigena in Radicofani
Two stage connections are important when planning actively. The Via Francigena stage from San Quirico d’Orcia to Radicofani can be completed on foot or by mountain bike. It is 33.02 kilometres long and classified as very demanding. Another stage leads from Radicofani to Acquapendente and can likewise be completed on foot or by mountain bike. The Chiesa di San Pietro is the main church of the town of Radicofani and an example of Romanesque-Gothic architecture in the Val d’Orcia. Bosco Isabella is located south of Radicofani. The garden is romantic and esoteric and covers approximately 2.5 hectares. La Posta Letteraria, a literary festival held on the first or second weekend of July, also takes place at Bosco Isabella. The event is held in Radicofani in the province of Siena. Palio del Bigonzo
The Palio del Bigonzo is a medieval festival in Radicofani. The four contrade compete with the ancient bigonzi, containers used to transport eggs. The nearest railway station is Chiusi–Chianciano Terme on the Florence–Rome line.
