Tocchi: Nature Trails, Waterfall and Medieval Village

Tocchi combines a medieval local history with nature experiences. Castello di Tocchi is a medieval village dating from the 12th century and serves as the historical focal point for a journey where culture, woodland landscapes and paths through the surrounding area come together. Historic Tocchi and Its Buildings

In 1202, Castello di Tocchi belonged to the Counts Ardenghesci. It was also the last outpost of the Diocese of Volterra on the border with the Maremma. La Pigna is a waterfall in a limestone environment with travertine formations and a beautiful panorama to the north.

Poggio la Biffa, a mountain, lies in the immediate surroundings of Tocchi. The mountains Poggio Cerrete, Poggio del Casino and Poggio Napoleone are also located in the wider surroundings of Tocchi.
