The starting point of “Sentiero 1: Cima Monte Tezio” is at the car park at the foot of Parco di Monte Tezio. If you are coming from Perugia or Magione, drive through Colle Umberto I towards Umbertide. After about 500 metres, turn right at the green space by the school buildings.

On the “Sentiero 3: Le Neviere” hiking trail, a view of Lake Trasimeno and the Amiata and Cetona mountains opens up after the forest. The remains of the old “Neviere” can also be seen along this trail at an altitude of 917 m. The view and the historical remains are therefore located along the same route.
