Canale Nuovo: Trails, Landscape and Culture

Church on the edge of the village

On the edge of the small village of Canale Nuovo, the Chiesa della Santissima Annunziata stands on the road from Orvieto to Bagnoregio. Traditionally, it is believed to have originally been a grange of the monks of the Abbey of Santi Severo e Martirio.

“Il Canale dei libri” is an initiative with two fixed monthly dates: Fridays at 9 p.m. and Saturdays at 5 p.m. At the meetings, people read and discuss books.
