Hiking between Eresaz and Émarèse

The Cammino Balteo passes through Eresaz along one of its stages. The Anello del Bosco delle Fate circular trail also starts there and can be walked in either direction. As early as 1987, the festival was organised with a barbecue in front of the town hall and dancing in the square. Over the years, it developed into a larger celebration with additional events and a longer duration. Tsan is practised across the region beyond Émarèse as far as the border with Piedmont, while the Festa di Saint-Roch is associated with Eresaz.

Getting there and finding your way around

Émarèse can be reached by the Châtillon-Émarèse bus route. At the Eresaz geosite, you can park near the town hall and then continue on foot. The bus journey takes you to Émarèse, while at the Eresaz geosite, the onward journey begins on foot after parking.
