The Ferrata del Gorbeillon is approximately a 15-minute walk from the center of Valtournenche. Another walking destination is Le Gouffre-des-Busserailles: the footpath begins in the hamlet of Crépin and takes 45 minutes each way. At 45 minutes each way, the route to Le Gouffre is longer than the approximately 15-minute walk to the Ferrata. A separate time slot for the round trip is therefore advisable when visiting Le Gouffre.

The two rascard buildings differ in age: the Maison de l'Alpage dates from the 17th century, while the tourism office dates from 1700. For orientation in the village, the Valtournenche tourism office is located in the center of the village, in a renovated rascard dating from 1700.
