The Acquario Multimediale Il Diamante uses images and films to present the marine ecosystems of Diamante and Cirella, as well as the typical underwater flora and fauna and the special features of Cirella Island. The Peperoncino Festival offers another way to experience regional identity: its program includes performances, exhibitions, medical conferences, drawings in the ring, films and the historic finale of the “Campionato Italiano Mangiatori di Peperoncino.” The festival area “Mangiare Mediterraneo” presents Calabrian specialties and new creations from the craft tradition along Diamante’s historic seafront promenade.
