Saviano showcases several facets of Italian local culture. Carnevale Savianese takes place in Saviano every year. The festival includes two parades with allegorical floats. Simonetti and dated 1859, depicting the proclamation of the dogma of the Immaculate Conception. Chiesa di San Giacomo Apostolo was established in the Middle Ages as a lay brotherhood and subsequently developed into a church hospital facility. It is one of Saviano's oldest historic buildings and houses works of art from the 18th and 19th centuries.

The portal of Palazzo Allocca consists of a round arch made of piperno stone. In its courtyard, the palazzo has a 14th-century garden; its façade features structural and decorative elements with a neoclassical character. Access to Palazzo Allocca is free. Teatro Auditorium “Vincenzo Sorrentino” hosts concerts, theater performances and art exhibitions, among other events. Its entrance and parking area are wheelchair accessible.

Local Cuisine and Special Events

Another local perspective is offered by “A sera d'o 'nciucio” in Rione Sirico. The event includes a historical and cultural reenactment in the bassi, alleyways and doorways of the old town center. Local wines and dishes that originated directly from the agricultural and rural world are prepared and sampled there.
