The Borgo di Colle Ameno was built in the 18th century as a town with houses and workshops. In Colle Ameno, the Aula della Memoria preserves testimonies and documents relating to the town’s wartime history. Here, urban history and the memory of the past meet directly.
Palazzo De' Rossi is a building in the late Gothic Bolognese style; it was begun in 1482 by Bartolomeo Rossi and later completed by his sons. The Santuario della Beata Vergine del Sasso was built between 1802 and 1831 to house an image of the Madonna and Child. The Museo Marconi presents a different historical focus: functioning reconstructions of scientific apparatus from the 19th century can be seen there.
