Culture and the Development of the Resort
Cisim is a cultural and community centre aimed primarily at young people, located at Viale Parini 48 in Lido Adriano (RA). Its cultural profile also includes the artistic project “Il Grande Teatro di Lido Adriano”. Over three years of performances, it involved more than 100 participants of different ages and backgrounds. Together, they created the three productions “Mantiq at-Tayr – Il Verbo degli uccelli”, “Panchatantra” and “Bhagavadgita”, all acclaimed by audiences and critics.
The development of the town was shaped in the 1960s by the entrepreneurial vision of Count Augusto Chiericati. An ambitious urban development project transformed more than 300 hectares of rural land into a modern seaside resort.
