Fortified Architecture and Historical Traces
Castello di San Savino is a fully fortified village on the panoramic road connecting Montescudo-Monte Colombo with Coriano. Castello di San Savino (casa) belongs to medieval architecture. The “casa” section of Castello di San Savino is dated to the period from the 12th to the 18th century. Pieve di San Savino preserves a 14th-century marble tabernacle. The Historic Complex of Fattoria del Piccione
Fattoria del Piccione is located in a historic complex with a winery. The Marquises Massani founded it in the 19th century; it was later operated by the Counts Spina.
