Sant'Agata Feltria can be discovered from three perspectives: a castle complex with museums, a forest-rich surrounding area and seasonal events. Rocca Fregoso stands on Sasso del Lupo (Pietra Anellaria) and overlooks the Savio Valley below from this natural steep slope. It houses the permanent Rocca delle Fiabe Museum, which opened on 20 September 2014.

Museums and Historic Architecture
Rocca delle Fiabe explores fairy-tale themes through books, excerpts, texts, themed animations and multimedia materials. The exhibition at the Archaeological Museum traces settlement and transport routes in the Sant'Agata area from prehistory and early history through the Roman period to the Middle Ages. For schoolchildren, students and adults, the museum offers experimental archaeology workshops by prior reservation.
The Monastero di Santa Maria Maddalena includes a Romanesque church dedicated to Santa Maria Maddalena, dating from the 12th to the 13th century. The Church of Beata Vergine delle Grazie, together with the Monastero di San Girolamo, which houses the Museo delle Arti Rurali, forms a unified building complex. The former Monastero di San Girolamo is a historic complex dating from the mid-16th century; the Museo delle Arti Rurali documents the rural civilization and the related arts and crafts there.
The Teatro Angelo Mariani is a historic theater in Italy built entirely of wood. Guided tours are available there for groups and school classes by prior reservation.
Forests, Trails and Special Features
More than 3,000 hectares of forest provide a habitat for numerous wild animal species in Sant'Agata Feltria. Ten hiking trails through the forests have been designated in the area. The “Percorso Bioitaly” is an easy, educational nature trail suitable for everyone; walking it at an average pace takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The Cammino di San Vicinio also includes a stage from Sant'Agata Feltria to Montetiffi.
The “Il giro delle fontane” route includes, among its stops, a mosaic fountain created by the Ravenna-born artist Marco Bravura from more than 300,000 gold-colored, multicolored mosaic tiles.
Events and Regional Cuisine
The national fair “Il Paese del Natale” takes place in Sant'Agata Feltria in December on the holidays before Christmas. It includes the food tour “I Piatti dell’Avvento”, prepared according to the customs and traditions of the Christmas season in Sant'Agata Feltria. The truffle fair includes a competition for truffle dogs. White truffles from the local forests are also transformed there into high-quality gastronomic dishes.
Sant'Agata Feltria has a motorhome parking area about 200 meters from Piazza Garibaldi, with space for up to 50 motorhomes.
