In the 18th century, Borgo Grappa was previously known as Porcareccia or Archi di San Donato and later as Casal dei Pini. Memorial sites and architecture

A memorial plaque for the fallen is mounted on the façade of the Chiesa di San Giuseppe. The plaque displays the names and photoceramic portraits of eleven people born in Borgo Grappa who lost their lives as a result of the world wars.

The restored Monumento ai Caduti di Borgo Grappa was inaugurated on April 26, 2026. Together with the memorial plaque at the Chiesa di San Giuseppe, the monument is one of the specific places where the town’s culture of remembrance can be traced.

The Chiesa di San Giuseppe features a design shaped by the architect Tirelli and inspired by the Neo-Quattrocento style. The Torre di Borgo Grappa is also the work of Tirelli: he designed it in 1931.

The former Centro Sanitario di Borgo Grappa is part of the historical building stock and rural architecture. It is protected under Municipal Council Resolution No. 186 of October 6, 1997. Its former function and protected historical status clearly distinguish this site from the memorial and religious buildings and broaden the view of Borgo Grappa’s architectural development.
