Historical Traces and Sacred Connections

The ancient medieval castle complex is part of Ghisalba’s historical local heritage. It had a circular layout and was surrounded by a moat. Part of the structure of the medieval keep has been preserved on the castle grounds. For those interested in culture, attention is therefore drawn to the architectural form of the complex and to a preserved part of the castle grounds.

The Chiesa di San Lorenzo is designed in the neoclassical style. Its architectural language stands alongside the medieval traces of the castle complex as an independent architectural reference.
