Inveruno offers you focused access to culture, local event traditions and destinations in the surrounding area. Industrial facilities, the Chiesa di San Martino, markets, as well as several parks and museums provide different points of interest. If you are looking for a combination of architectural history, regional specialties and varied experiences for your trip to Italy, you can set your own individual priorities here.

Industrial Heritage Spanning Several Centuries

The specific historic structures include the Torchio di Villa Mira Tanzi, an industrial press dating from the mid-18th century. The Fornace dell'acqua in Inveruno is an industrial kiln complex from the 19th century. The Lazzaretto is a building from the first half of the 18th century and is currently used for religious purposes. In Inveruno, you can therefore encounter different forms of historic buildings, from industrial facilities to a building that is still used for religious purposes today.

The Chiesa di San Martino

The Chiesa di San Martino is a particular highlight. The church has three naves, structured by five columns clad in Marmorite and fitted with granite bases. Its origins date back to around the year 1000. The new Chiesa di San Martino was consecrated by Cardinal Andrea Carlo Ferrari on 23 November 1901. Its architectural structure and origins reaching far back in time make the church a tangible subject for anyone interested in architecture and local history.

Markets and Spring Festivals

Local event culture includes the Fiera di San Martino, a market and exhibition featuring organic products, products from short supply chains and local gastronomic specialties. The Antica Fiera dell'Angelo takes place every year as the spring fair of the municipality of Inveruno, in the streets of the town centre and in Parco Comunale. For 21 April 2025, it was announced there with Floribunda and other programme items.

Palaces, Museums and Parks in the Surrounding Area

The area around Inveruno also contains several historic, museum-related and scenic destinations. These include Villa Ottolini-Tovaglieri and Palazzo Cicogna, each a palace, as well as the Museo Civico Busto Arsizio and the Museo del Tessile di Busto Arsizio. The range therefore extends from palace architecture and textile history to parks and gardens.

Cinema and Personal Travel Planning

The cinema at Via Brera 10 offers film forums, cinema programmes and theatre programmes; the auditorium can also be rented for other events. When choosing a hotel or other accommodation, your interests may be decisive: travellers who want to explore church and industrial history will set different priorities from those who place markets, film or green spaces at the centre of their trip. Inveruno can therefore be explored through cultural, culinary and scenic themes.

You can also continue exploring the following destinations: Bareggio, Locate Di Triulzi, Cormano, Besate, Assago, Rho, Turbigo, Albairate.
