Trebbiantico combines historic buildings, gardens and landscapes into a place that you can get to know from several perspectives. Villa Galantara is also known as Villa Guerrini and Palazzo di Galantara and was built in Trebbiantico between the late 17th and early 18th centuries. Villa Cattani Stuart in Trebbiantico was built between 1630 and 1680. The two construction periods therefore fall partly within the same centuries and partly within adjacent centuries.

Historic villas and their landscaped gardens in Trebbiantico

The history of Villa Cattani Stuart also includes Giacomo III Stuart. He was one of the notable people who stopped at Villa Cattani Stuart. Around the middle of the 19th century, the Guerrini family acquired Villa Galantara and subsequently redesigned the park and the Italian garden. This combination of architectural history and landscaped surroundings gives the villas their own distinctive historical focus.

History, remembrance and private garden culture

The Parco Esuli Giuliano-Dalmati reflects another historical connection to Trebbiantico. The park in Trebbiantico commemorates the Julian-Dalmatian exiles; it is also home to a memorial plaque dedicated to Roberto Biagiotti. The Giardini di Villa Cattani Stuart in Trebbiantico-Pesaro is a private historic garden. The Fonte di Sajano in Trebbiantico is considered particularly worth seeing and was recently restored.

Views, nature and easy walking paths at Colle Ardizio

Trebbiantico offers a special view. At Colle Ardizio, there are easy walking paths through nature shaped by flora, fauna and history. Colle Ardizio complements the villas with a natural area. This creates an alternation between cultural and historical themes and time spent outdoors when planning your trip. In Trebbiantico, historical periods of construction, remembrance and nature coexist and can be considered different focuses of a stay.
