Wine and the Mura Mura landscape

At Mura Mura, the wines mature in ceramic vessels during their second year of ageing. Mura Mura cultivates approximately 11 hectares of vineyards, including vineyards around the Le Marne Relais. The Mura Mura estate associated with the Pasquana hospitality business covers a total of 30 hectares, including vineyards, an orchard, woodland, bees and a pond. Wine production and the agriculturally shaped surroundings are therefore closely connected to the defining themes of a stay.

The Mura Mura estate offers the “Sinfonia” cellar experience, including a cellar tour, a tasting of two glasses and the pairing of the wines with local products. Also available is “I Profumi del Vino”, a sensory experience featuring a blind game involving wine aromas and a tasting of three glasses. At Radici Ristorante in Vigna, tasting menus are offered with pairings tailored to Mura Mura wines.

Regional cuisine and special insights

Le Marne also offers its guests a tour of a farm and a traditional cheese dairy, including a cheese tasting. A cooking class focuses on the culinary traditions of the Province of Asti and local products. This allows you to experience wine, agriculture and cuisine not only at the table, but also through their artisanal connections.

By bike, on horseback and on foot

For active days, Le Marne offers e-bike routes through vineyards, along panoramic country roads and on paths near farms and woodland areas. The Le Marne Relais estate also includes a 4-kilometre cyclocross course. Those who would like to experience the landscape with more time to take in the surroundings can also enjoy horseback rides at Le Marne through forests, along paths and across hilly landscapes; these are complemented by lunch at a local osteria.

A hiking route from Costigliole d’Asti to the giant bench at Bricco Lù reaches Borgata Pasquana via vineyard paths. For planning your trip, this offers different paces: you can focus on tastings and regional cuisine or combine the wine landscape with e-biking, horseback riding and hiking trails. As another option, Le Marne has a helipad surrounded by vineyards and can organise flights over the vineyards of Barolo and Barbaresco.
