The Mostra della Resistenza is a mobile open-air exhibition displayed on the walls of Sala and in the hamlet of Bornasco. The Antico Forno Massera Museum presents more than 100 years of history of Massera and the region, spanning from 1920 to the present day. Forest Paths and Stages for Different Day Plans

Several paths have different focuses. The third stage of the Cammino di Oropa della Serra from Sala Biellese to the Santuario di Graglia leads from the town centre into the forest and reaches Laghetto Cossavella. GTB Stage 7 from Scalveis (Chiaverano) to Torrazzo passes by Laghetto „Cossavella“ on a section towards Sala and continues through mixed chestnut and birch forest to Torrazzo. The two routes therefore pass the same lake, but have different destinations: the Cammino leads to the Santuario di Graglia, while the GTB stage leads to Torrazzo. The two destinations should therefore not be confused if only one stage destination fits into the day's plan.

The Sentiero Goloso is approximately 3.5 km long in total, has an elevation gain of 200 m, and can be walked in about 1 hour. Five information boards along the Sentiero Goloso recall the traditional flavours of the Serra. The Sentiero Verso l'Acqua begins in Sala and leads through the forest to Cascina Moiette.

The Ecomuseo Anfiteatro Morenico di Ivrea is a museum in the area surrounding Sala Biellese. Also located in this area are Castello di Montalto, a castle; Museo Civico Pier Alessandro Garda, a museum; and the Seminary Palace, a palace.

Other Mountains and Natural Sites in the Surrounding Area

Colma di Mombarone is a mountain in the area surrounding Sala Biellese. Monte Muanda and Punta Tre Vescovi are also mountains in this area. Porta della Torrazza is a natural arch there.

The Santuario della Madonnina in Cascina Abbadia dates predominantly from the 15th century. One of its pillars bears an Annunciation dated 1492, a work by Gaspare da Ponderano. The year 1492 dates the Annunciation on the pillar, not the Santuario as a whole as a building.
