The “Estensione Casalgrasso (percorso 2c)” cycle route has a different focus: after 6.9 km, it reaches the church of Casalgrasso. This allows you to consider the walking route and the cycle route separately in your plans. The Chiesa di Santa Croce is located a few hundred metres from the junction leading back to Casalgrasso.

Remembrance and religious architectural history

One of the cultural points of interest is the Monumento ai Caduti e dispersi di Casalgrasso. It consists of a large triangular stone bearing an engraved marble plaque; another, smaller triangular stone stands beside it. The Monumento provides a lasting reminder of the fallen and missing of Casalgrasso. The Chiesa della Confraternita offers a different historical trace: it was built at the beginning of the 18th century and is associated with the Compagnia dei Battuti.
