Pamparato reveals its character particularly clearly in the narrow historic streets lined with 23 fountains bearing women's names. At the upper edge of the settlement, right at the start of the chestnut forests, stands the Cappella di San Bernardo. Its frescoes date from 1482 and give the village a clear art-historical significance. The Oratorio di Sant'Antonio is designed in the Piedmontese Baroque style. The Chiesa di San Biagio was built to a design by the architect Giovenale Boetto, who came from Fossano.

The cultural character of Pamparato also includes the Museo degli Usi della Gente di Montagna. It was founded in 1987 and is housed in the former kindergarten at Via Chiesa 39. Another special feature is the Ponte Murato, also known as the Ponte Romano. A painting on the bridge commemorates the passage of the Holy Shroud. The Festival dei Saraceni was launched in 1968 by Professor Mauro Uberti and complements the village's historical and cultural associations.

For assessing a possible hiking focus, the route of Stage 05A of the Sentiero Tanaro is also relevant: it runs from Pamparato, more precisely from the Borgo di Valcasotto, to Frabosa Soprana, in the hamlet of Fontane.
