The Parrocchiale di Sant'Ilario di Poitiers was built from 1659 onwards and consecrated in 1665 by Bishop Giulio Maria Odescalchi. The bell tower next to the church dates from 1608. The Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta is thought to date from the 13th or 14th century; later extensions were carried out in the 15th century. It therefore combines pictorial representations, a precisely dated bell tower and several construction phases.

Villa Elisa also draws attention to architecture and historic townscapes. It lies outside the built-up town centre and is surrounded by a garden of considerable landscape importance. Its austere façade, typical of the 16th century, may have been designed by the architect Pellegrino Tibaldi.

Walking Routes between Gattico and Veruno

The Anello Gattico-Veruno footpath is approximately 6 km long and runs through the hilly area between the two settlements. In addition, the Direttrice 3: Muggiano–Veruno–Revislate runs through Veruno. It connects Arona and the Parco Naturale dei Lagoni di Mercurago with Bogogno and Agrate Conturbia.
