In Lunamatrona, the first chapel on the right in the Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista houses the Retablo di Santa Maria, a work by Antioco Mainas from the mid-16th century.
The Nuraghe Trobas is a single-tower monument with an outer diameter of approximately 13 metres and a preserved maximum height of 2 metres. In front of the museum, turn at a crossroads towards Villanovaforru and follow the road to the visible Su Cuaddu 'e Nixìas tomb. To reach the Nuraghe Trobas, follow the signs from the centre of Lunamatrona to the Su Cuaddu 'e Nixìas Giants' Tomb and the natural history museum, then turn left at a crossroads in front of the museum towards Villanovaforru; the Nuraghe Trobas is then approximately 270 metres southwest of the tomb.
