Inside the Chiesa di San Lorenzo are thousands of figures made of Russian pinewood, created by Mario Ceroli. The Teatro Mario Ceroli is inspired by Greco-Roman theatres and was designed by Mario Ceroli together with the architects G. Fini and M. Sotgiu. Its auditorium is semicircular and has seating for 700 people. Both buildings give Porto Rotondo a cultural side that clearly differs from a purely beach- or harbour-focused perspective.
