The palaces of the Faraci family are among the most magnificent aristocratic residences in Sant Agata Di Militello. The palaces of representation were initially built in the neoclassical style and later enhanced with Art Nouveau features. Piazza Vincenzo Consolo developed into a social gathering place that also became a stage for important public events in Sant Agata Di Militello.

Everyday Culture of the Nebrodi

The Museo Etnoantropologico dei Nebrodi preserves a collection of 400 objects from around 25 places in the Nebrodi. The holdings include equipment used for olive harvesting, grain cultivation and cheese production, as well as clothing, religious objects and musical instruments. This means the focus is not only on representative buildings, but also on working methods, beliefs and the region's material everyday life.
