An educational area for children complements the exhibition. The collection combines Roman underwater finds with tools used in fishing and boatbuilding.

The Villa Genovesi is another striking building. The structure is designed in the Swiss style and has a steep gabled roof typical of the Alps. A cylindrical tower is crowned by a distinctive weather vane. Villa Genovesi may be accessible during municipal events in summer.
