The Costa del Sole coastline combines small rocky areas and small, partly flat rock formations with sand to form small beaches. For travelling to the area and choosing your accommodation, the road connections and direct urban services are therefore the key reference points, while a railway station near the beach is not among them.

Paths by the sea and rocky coves

From Arenella, heading towards the dunes, you can reach hidden rocky coves spread over more than 1 kilometre, where you can swim. The coves combine movement along the coast with the opportunity to bathe away from the sandy shore. From Costa del Sole, you can also reach the Arenella area via a 300-metre-long footpath running along the sea. A half-day sea excursion starts at the small port of Ognina and heads to the Gulf of Asparano and Arenella beach. During this excursion, it is possible to swim in the crystal-clear sea at Arenella beach, where the seabed is sandy. The excursion therefore combines a trip along the coast with time in the water and also offers views of Arenella from the sea.
