Fanusa between Marine Reserve and Coastal Trails

Fanusa lies within the Plemmirio Marine Reserve, which is designated as an ASPIM area, meaning a specially protected area of Mediterranean importance. The Fanusa Sbocco 1 access point is located in Zone C of the marine reserve; this zone is designated as a partial reserve. The coast is therefore closely connected with the special protection areas of Plemmirio and is particularly appealing to travellers who want to experience the landscape and sea within a clearly defined natural setting.

Coastal landscape around Punta Milocca

Punta Milocca in Fanusa presents a distinctive coastal landscape. White cliffs line the coves there, while an untouched coastal landscape stretches along the shore. The trail is called Sentiero della Maddalena. Anyone wishing to combine Fanusa with outdoor activity in the landscape will also find numerous mountain-bike and trekking routes and trails at Punta Milocca. The approximate length of the nature trail and the various route connections make it possible to plan shorter stays and active days in different ways.
