Casa-Museo di Garibaldi and Everyday History
The Casa-Museo di Garibaldi building is dated to the late 18th century based on its architectural features. In the museum, you can see historical documents, memorabilia of the Garibaldini and the Bourbons, photographs of the Garibaldini with manuscripts, as well as furniture from the period of the Risorgimento.

The Museo Etno - Antropologico Cittadino documents Calatafimi's agricultural character through tools, equipment and objects from fieldwork, crafts and domestic life. It also reconstructs a rural kitchen and dining room, a bedroom from the early 1900s and a shoemaker's workshop. As a result, the focus is not only on individual objects but also on the living and working environments of past ways of life.
Churches between the Renaissance and Baroque
The Chiesa del Santissimo Crocifisso was built in the mid-18th century on a hill above the town. Its exterior is neoclassical, while its interior is Baroque. The church contains 18th-century paintings depicting the Madonna and Child and Sant'Alberto. Its architecture and furnishings reveal two different design approaches within the same religious building.
The Chiesa Madrice, dedicated to Saint Pope Sylvester, is one of the oldest churches in old Calatafimi and dates back to the 15th century. It is designed in the Renaissance style, has three naves and features a small number of subtly gilded Baroque stucco decorations. The high altar contains a marble polyptych by Berrettaro and Mancino, created between 1509 and 1512. The church therefore offers a particularly concentrated insight into the town's religious architecture and art history.
Panoramic Square, Segesta and the Via Mazarense
The Belvedere Francesco Vivona is a spacious panoramic square that can be reached via Viale Oberdan. As another historical point of reference, the archaeological site of Segesta includes a medieval village with a mosque and a castle on the summit.
