Hiking and Cycling in Capannori

The municipality of Capannori’s northern trail network comprises 17 hiking trails running through the hilly and mountainous area of the Pizzorne Plateau. The plateau belongs to the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. For planning hikes, the number of trails and the terrain can be considered separately: the terrain includes both hills and mountains.

Trail No. 16 – San Gennaro is 3 km long and belongs to this northern trail network of the municipality of Capannori. When planning a hike, this means that a specific distance and a trail network with 17 routes can be considered side by side. The 3 km refer to Trail No. 16; the 17 hiking trails belong to the entire northern network.

The northern and southern variants of the Via Francigena in Capannori can also be travelled by bicycle. For cyclists, the Via Francigena in Capannori can therefore be planned via two variants.
