The Area Verde Palazzina is located in the hamlet of Pieve di Curtarolo near the Brenta River. It includes a wooden building, an equipped area, a green space and an adjacent car park.

Churches, frescoes and historic buildings

The Oratorio di San Francesco is part of an ancient 13th-century complex. Its apse preserves a cycle of frescoes attributed to students of the school of Giusto de Menabuoi or possibly to Giusto de Menabuoi himself.

The parish church of Pieve di Curtarolo is dedicated to Santa Giuliana. The present church building features Neoclassical forms. Extensive restoration began in 2001 and was completed in 2011 with the restoration of the bell tower and the redesign of the square.

Villa Bozza is a recently restored 19th-century building and stands on the site of an earlier 16th-century villa that belonged to Pietro Bembo. Beneath the entrance portico is a cast of a precious marble relief that Pietro Bembo commissioned from a renowned sculptor of his time in the 16th century. The villa preserves numerous Art Nouveau influences, mythological decorations and frescoes on its façade and in its interiors.

Pilgrimage and events in 2026

The Santuario della Beata Vergine di Tessara is a place of worship and prayer. For centuries, it has been an important point of reference for the communities of Santa Maria di Non, Pieve and Curtarolo, as well as for the entire Alta Padovana. For centuries, the Madonna di Tessara has attracted numerous faithful each year on pilgrimage to the church set amid the greenery of the plain.

The Pedalata per le vie di Curtarolo is a traditional bicycle excursion held on 1 May; in 2026, it will take place for the 30th time and serves as a way to get to know the area. The Festa della Birra will take place from 4 September to 6 September 2026 and will include music and a food stall. 2026 will be its third edition. The Antica sagra Madonna del Carmine event will take place from 17 July to 21 July 2026 in Pieve di Curtarolo.
