Duna Verde: Nature, Beaches and Cycle Paths

Duna Verde was established in the early 1960s as a quiet holiday resort surrounded by abundant greenery. Cyclists can take the “Eraclea mare” cycling tour, an easy, paved route with a total length of 30 kilometres. It leads to Duna Verde via a cycle path. In addition, a long footpath and cycle path through the green surroundings connects the centre of Duna Verde with the nearby places of Eraclea, Porto Santa Margherita and Caorle. This makes it possible to cater to different travel preferences without losing sight of the landscape.

Market and Local Orientation

A seasonal weekly market with 30 stalls takes place at Piazzale Madoneta on Wednesday mornings from mid-May to mid-September. The time limit is important for your travel planning: anyone wishing to visit this market has a clearly defined period within the season in which to do so.

Architecture, Church and Museums

The Chiesa della Madonna delle Dune was consecrated in 1984. The building was created from a “capitello”. Together with the white holiday complexes and their rounded forms, the church is one of the architectural features that make Duna Verde interesting beyond purely beach and nature experiences.
