Noventa Vicentina: Villas, Theatre and the Ciclovia Riviera Berica

Noventa Vicentina is located in the Basso Veneto between the Colli Berici and the Euganean Hills. The town combines historic villas, the Duomo di Noventa Vicentina and the Teatro Modernissimo with the Ciclovia Riviera Berica, which runs through the surrounding area. Villas and historic architecture

Villa Barbarigo Rezzonico was commissioned in Noventa Vicentina in 1588. The building has four floors and is also known as Villa dei Dogi. Villa Barbarigo Rezzonico therefore stands as an independent historical topic alongside Villa Manin Cantarella.

A second villa, Villa Manin Cantarella, was built by Venetian nobles between the late 16th and early 17th centuries. Teatro Modernissimo and its theatre series

The Teatro Modernissimo was built at the end of the 19th century in a clearly defined Liberty style. Its construction history therefore belongs to a different historical period from the information concerning the villas.

Since 1986, a regular theatre season featuring prose performances for adults has been held. Since 2004, the children’s theatre series “Un sipario tra cielo e terra” has also been offered.

The Ciclovia Riviera Berica is a 36-kilometre-long paved cycle path that passes through eleven municipalities and is completely flat.
