Churches with Distinctive Character

The Chiesa di San Giorgio in Poleo was designed by Antonio Caregaro Negrin. Inside, it houses two paintings of the Madonna and Child by an unknown artist, probably dating from the 15th century. There is also an altarpiece depicting Saint George by Giovanni Minchio from 1738, a stone statue of the Madonna and a mosaic of the Eternal Father on the church’s gable.
