Curinga: Roman Baths, Palaces and Beaches

Curinga combines the Roman baths in Acconia with narrow streets in the historic center, palaces, beaches and Mount Serralta di San Vito. There are also traces of historic construction and use, as well as culinary festival traditions.

Roman Heritage in Acconia

The Terme Romane di Acconia are a large Roman thermal complex located a few hundred meters from the center of Acconia. The complex was part of a large monumental private villa. In addition, the Terme Romane di Acconia are considered the only certain example on the Italian Peninsula of a building featuring construction techniques that were widespread in the Roman world of Africa.
